Planning for SPAADS 2010 began at the end of our successful Reunion 2008 in Quebec City. Although, that historic & interesting old city provided wonderful ambiance, attendance numbers were down sharply from 2006 (OW) & 2004 (WG).
(ie. 341 vs 562 & 628 respectively.)
Penticton, BC
In Quebec City, the SPAADS National Committee selected Penticton, BC as the ‘host city’ for the 9-12 September 2010 Reunion; invited George Miller to form a 2010 Reunion Committee; and notified SPAADS Members in the November Newsletter. By early 2009, a contract had been signed with the Lakeside Resort and Conference Center. Since then, your 2010 Reunion Committee has assembled a great Team resolved to be 'innovative' in order to produce a successful and well-attended 2010 reunion in Penticton.
