Your Website Team has established a very inexpensive but effective
arrangement with "surveymonkey.com". With them, we can create a survey/questionnaire, place a hot link to it on our website, and gather feed-back from SPAADS members over say a 2-week period (and even allow respondents the ability to change their minds). Not only can we see the feed-back (almost in real time) from individual respondents, but we can also aggregate data quickly & easily from our large SPAADS database.
Johanna, our wonderful web designer, has also incorporated code from Google Analytics (a free program) that allows us to count hits, time, etc for each of our webpages. And this will give us the ability to analyse the interest/time being spent on each of our 36-odd pages.
Bravenet.com, who will be 'hosting' our 2010 website, will also be sending out the bulk of our emails, so make sure to check your SPAM folders in case your Internet/email Service Provider (ISP) filters them as SPAM. Bravenet will also be overseeing the "deliverability" of our emails, so don't be surprised to find them questioning you or re-sending emails, to ensure that our emails get delivered.
Finally, this section of our 2010 website will also be used to give members "feed-back" summaries & results from the many surveys/questionnaires we intend to run. Our intention is to keep you informed as we move forward to our 2010 Reunion.
